Collection: Echoes of Olja

Echoes of Olja is an evolving body of work rooted in my experience as a Russian adoptee and my ongoing exploration of identity, memory, and cultural connection. Olja was my name before adoption—a small piece of a life I remember mostly through photographs, objects, stories, and fragments. Through surreal landscapes, Russian folk-inspired motifs, florals, porcelain patterns, childhood symbols, and imagined spaces, I am creating a visual world where those fragments can exist together. This collection is less about finding one answer to where I belong and more about honoring the journey of discovering, remembering, and becoming.
