Porcelain Garden

My grandmother loves blue porcelain. I grew up watching her tend to those familiar patterns — blue and white, quiet and deliberate. This painting is my way of looking back at her with tenderness, tracing how the objects and colors we grow up around quietly shape who we become.

The flowers became more than decoration; they represented growth, family, memory, and the different stages of becoming. This painting allowed me to look backward with affection while growing increasingly curious about how the objects, colors, and people we grow up around quietly shape our identities.
